Professional Bio
Bill Dorman is a Vice President of Hawai‘i Public Radio, where he has been News Director since 2011 and writes and produces the “Asia Minute” feature. He took part in the CPB-supported Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative in 2020-2021 and is a past board member of PRNDI/PMJA. He has previously worked at CNN and Bloomberg in the United States and Asia and has participated in the East West Center’s Korea-United States Journalist Exchange program, a fellowship from the Foreign Press Center of Japan and an outreach program in the Philippines with the Global Center for Journalism and Democracy and Rappler.com.
