Phyllis Fletcher

PMJA named Phyllis Fletcher its inaugural Editor of the Year, and Phyllis has remained involved in PMJA as a mentor, teacher and coach in the years since. She’s proud today to be a senior story editor for Wondery, guiding story craft and journalistic standards for a suite of podcasts across genres. She’s also a board member for the Third Coast Audio Festival, and for Live Wire with Luke Burbank. Her research on the unique ethical challenges faced by journalists from marginalized groups is published in the Handbook of Global Media Ethics from Springer International.
