Professional Bio
I began my career as a photojournalist at the Rochester (NY) Democrat and Chronicle. As the industry evolved, so did I, and I became a multimedia producer using photos, video and audio to report and tell stories.
I am currently an instructor in the journalism program at the University of Oregon and produce the website westofthetunnel.org, sharing stories of the people who live in the Siuslaw region of coastal Oregon, west of the tunnel. The site focuses on stories we don’t often hear or the reasons behind the stories we think we understand.
