At its 2022 conference in Seattle in June, PMJA honored Priska Neely, Managing Editor of the Gulf States Newsroom as the 2022 Editor of the Year. The Editor of the Year Award was created in 2018 to recognize the work being done across the public media system by editors who often go unrecognized. Priska was nominated for the honor by the reporters who make up the Gulf States Newsroom.
