PMJA Joins Protect My Public Media Coalition

PMJA is proud to be a founding member of the Protect My Public Media Coalition, a national alliance of public media organizations and industry partners that support federal funding that enables public media stations to serve their communities by providing local news, proven educational resources for children and families, life-saving emergency alerts, and enriching cultural content. PMJA is proud to be a founding member of the coalition. 

Public media plays a vital role in connecting people, ideas, and communities across America. With more than 1,500 public media stations nationwide, the Protect My Public Media Coalition seeks to ensure that local stations’ indispensable services remain available and accessible to all. The coalition will encourage public media supporters to get involved with Protect My Public Media to advocate for strong federal funding, demonstrating to Congress the widespread support for continued investment.

"From providing fact-based journalism to educational programming to life-saving emergency services and so much more, public media gives communities both large and small critical services that are not available through other means."
